Hard
Stiff, hard in high acidity or tannins. High acidity leading to a sensation of dryness in the mouth,
Harmonious
Describes all aspects of wine like fruits, acid, tannin in perfect balance.
Harsh
Describes wine with usually with high alcohol component,  rough, rustic taste characteristic. May not be worth the wait.
Hazy  
Describes unfiltered, un fined wines and loss of clarity due to flaw in wine making.  
Heady
Describes wine with high in alcohol and fully-bodied
Hearty
Describes with with full, warm qualities. Most often found in red wines with high alcohol component.
Herbaceous
Describes the aromas of fresh grass or hay; grassy, as in certain Sauvignon Blanc's
Herby  
Describes the aroma of herbs, like mint, sage, thyme, or of eucalyptus.  
Hollow
Often describes lacking in middle flavors, the sense that something is missing between the first taste and the finish. Caused by too many grapes or diluting the quality of the grapes
Honest  
Describes simple, straightforward, without flaws in wine makeing  
Honeyed  
Describes the wine with smell or taste  of honey.  

House style

 
Describes non vintage wines allow vintners to create a house style wine by blending for consistency and distinctive, recognizable aromas and flavors.  
Hot  
Describes high alcohol wines that have a burning flavor sensation  Normally accepted in fortified wines.
