Vineyards joined Kuldeep Bhartee, General Manager ITC Hotel Kakatiya
Sheraton & Towers to host the Wine launching event on Thursday, 20th
October 2005 at Hyder Mahar, ITC, Kakaiya Sheraton & Towers.
Hyderabad Wine Club members were invited
to join the event. Sula entered Hyderabad market with few of their
brands (in spite of heavy taxes here)– Sula Brut, Chenin Blanc, Madera
White & Red, Zinfandel and Cabernet-Shiraz and guests had the
opportunity to taste all these wines with hors d’oeuvres. Wine lovers
had the opportunity to share their wine experience with Sula. Rajeev
Samant was joined by Adrian Pinto, Deepak Bhatnagar, Nixon D’Melo, and
their Hyderabad representative, Mr. P. Kishan to host this event.
Hyderabad Wine Club is seriously lobbying
with the authorities concerned to impress upon them that wine should be
considered under food portfolio for tax purpose. Let us see and wait
for that chance.
