    Wine standards management plans (WSMPs)

    Respected Sir, Iam a student of Management in Business Administration, Doing a project on Wine Industry.. i am intrested in knowing abt Wine standards management plans which must be based on the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)... can you kindly help me with the topic. and i also wish to know which wine manufacturer companies in India follow these guidelines..

     Dear Prasad, These standards are very similar to COSHH in Europe (Chemicals or Substances Hazardous to Health). Wineries have been very slow to adhere to these standards in Europe, they were originally intended for mass production Industrial Units. I am unsure which wine business in India would be signed up to HACCP I will ask around and find out some more information for you

    Thank you sir for your prompt reply. Is it essintial to be signed up to HACCP for exporting wines to abroad countries. Like other standards which (ISO) certifications are essintial for exports.
