    Re: question

     Dear Sukhbir,

First to explain - Quite Obviously I apologise - but Sugar gives sweetness. If their is less Sugar in a wine the wine is termed as 'Dryer', and more sugar as 'sweeter'. Also Alcohol itself is sweet (as it is derived from sugar's and yeasts). The official definition of a Dry wine is <5g/Litre of sugar. 5-15 g/L or so is Medium and above this is sweet [extremely sweet].

From your question I think you are looking for a wine in the 'Medium' Category and a white.

I actually chatted with Subhash Arora - President of the Delhi Wine Club on this. He suggested that Indian Chenin Blancs tend to match this category with all major wine producers tending to produce a Chenin, including Sula, Grover, Chateau D'Ori, Nine Hills, Chateau Indage. Have a go on one of their wines and give me your feedback

    Kind Regards

    Puneet
