Activities       The Bangalore Wine Club is committed to meeting at least six times annually (October - September) for a contributory event that focuses on WINE     Events are usually held at one of the many 'starred' hotels in & around Bangalore, and fall into one of the following     Categories: Wine Dinner Either a sit-down or buffet, with the wines & food having been matched by the chef. Normally serve 3 - 4 wines     Wine Tasting Evaluation of different wines using tasting sheets and scoring. Up to 8 wines served. May or may not be followed by a buffet     Wine Outing A day trip , either to the nearby Grover Vineyards (normally in May/June when the grapes are being harvested) to to a nearby resort. 3 - 4 wines served along with a buffet lunch ; children also invited.     At all events we attempt to have a wine expert take the members through the wines, and for the participants to offer their own (sometimes varied) opinions on the wines available.     Events are normally attended by 50 - 60 participants, both members and a limited number of guests, who are registered in advance for the often limited number of seats.   Category     Home     Members     Membership     Activities     Events     Contact Us
